The noise from the neighbors was unbearable all night! I couldn't figure out the landline to call for help and reported it in the morning instead.

There was a wall 2m in front of our window, no light, sun or view. The room is too small. Our room was the same floor as the restaurant/ bar, hence kitchen smell in the room and noise. Were we given the worst room in the hotel.Very disappointing. Not a good value for money. Too expensive for very little in return.

Honestly nothing to complain about. Fairly clean place & super-friendly and consistently courteous staff who went out of his way to provide gobsmackingly-good service. Breakfast with food being served. Location: great and decent, next to a supermarket and loads of other shops. Also, on the nearby area.

I stayed at the Protea Hotel for a weekend getaway with my mom, and we had a fantastic experience. Our room was spotless and equipped with all the necessary amenities. we recently stayed at the protea and found it to be well-located, with plenty of cafes and bars just a short walk away. the hotel was clean, and the rooms, although on the smaller side, were modern and tidy. we appreciated the helpful staff and the good service during our visit. overall, it’s a secure spot for travelers looking to explore the local dining scene.

The location was comfortable and top and the free parking was on-site. The restaurant was big with fabulous food, we ordered appetising dishes...

Would have been nice to have room service. Transaction (for payment) had to be done manually and the instrument was jamming the paper. This caused the receptionist a lot of embarressment.

Location is great, especially near Gautrain (pity it was still inoperational!). Nice durable finishes, facilities. great showers/ air conditioning. Great bed/matrass and sheeting. Great parking proximity.

Smelling cigarette smoke in our part of passage, even room. Limited TV channels. Couldn't pick up WiFi on laptop/ get help from staff. Breakfast too pricey.

This place is right in the middle of everything, near lots of restaurants. It's clean and has a balcony, which is a nice touch. For the price, you really get your money's worth here. It had everything I needed, so I definitely plan on returning! 🌟

The restaurant here is spacious and serves amazing food, we tried some tasty dishes, and it is conveniently situated near the Swedish Embassy.

The design of the hotel is very modern and sophisticated. The English Breakfast is quite good...and the service very attentive.

Didn't expect the room to be quite so tiny, but it was fine.
